That must have come in real handy a lot of times. (Sorry, Duane. My wise-ass gene made me say it.)

That was Duane's way of showing off for the chicks! None of that wheelie/stoppie stuff for Duane, no sir!
Starting off from a stop in 4th is how one attracts classy ladies like Linda!

Now you have to go and ruin a perfectly good conversation by bringing up the subject of "what impresses the ladies". As if that's anything that will ever be understood by men. We don't know. Women probably don't know. And that's what makes us such a comical species, and maybe the worst thing to ever happen to the earth. At least lots of good jokes are based on the difference between the sexes.

The only thing I know about impressing the opposite gender is: whatever impresses most women, never impresses the woman you most want to impress.

I do know that what (some) women think would impress them if I would just do it, does not really impress them if I do it.

To quote a Monty Python commercial: "If your girlfriend laughs at this, marry her".

I got a buddy who could really use that setup on his Ural sidecar rig. Why do it to an R100?....one can only guess.

That is what happened to me with Linda. Had I known that Monty Python said it, I might have rethought it. :D
Ask the Indians what happens when you don't control immigration.

The guys from Top Gear did a riff on a similar theme in their last programme, it was all about the problem with electric hand bakes on modern cars, because they stopped you from failing to impress the ladies by doing handbrake turns.
