Due to a pinched nerve in my neck, I find myself seeking a light weight helmet. I have been using modular helmets since they were first produced for BMW by Shuberth and I really like the features and utility of a flip up. The last 10 years I've been riding with HJC modular helmets and have bee well pleased. But now I want something lighter. I am considering one of these. I have a few friends using them and they are unbelievably light!

They're coming onto the market a bit more, though not much available here in Oz yet.

No I have not heard of them. I wear earplugs when I'm on the highway for the day, but running around town doing errands they are a PITA, but I still find an excuse to get up to speeds that I should have my earplugs in for.
