Packing?

On last weekend's ride at a fuel stop at Goomeri we saw many bikes heading to the Ulysses AGM at Maryborough (Qld). Never before have I seen so many bikes & trikes towing trailers of all sizes (some huge).

PLEASE - someone remind me, if I get to that stage to get a truck!!!

Well, it's Sunday arvo and Mal of Dubbo should be well on the way on the first leg of his journey. He has probably already encountered a few bends in the road. He'll be meeting Bob in a couple of days and then, like the pied piper, collecting us other rats along the way to Wee Jasper. There are a few of us planning to meet at Anglers Rest on Wednesday for the ride to Bethanga on Thursday.

The weather forecast is looking really good http://www.yr.no/place/Australia/New_So ... /long.html
And it's a full moon on Friday. Perfect.

Time for me to start packing. See yez along the way, chaps.

I have made it to the coast! Great ride in perfect weather so far, motor running sweet but not so happy with the steering.
Top heavy feeling with oversteer. Not sure whats up, takes some concentration. About all i can do is play with tyre pressures. Still its wonderful to be rolling again.

Great to hear Mal.
We shall descend upon your bike like flies to a turd and we shall pull it all apart  and fix it.
If you don't sort it beforehand.
Which is prolly the better option. :P

AFAIK, the only structural changes have been the extra front disk and the top yoke. I'm sure you'll be checking the steering head bearings for play or binding.

Or, maybe you should have left the rock collection at home this time.

Gday Charlie. I also dropped the preload on the front forks by about an inch so its sittin lower at the front. Its carrying more gear than I have ever managed to get aboard before. Shoulda left the kitchen sink at home.
