Sold the Shitsuki and bought....

This is for the discussion of Motorcycling. The art, the science, the theory of all things related to our favorite sport... riding motorcycles.

Looks GOOD in black. I can't deal with the orange ones, but black with the orange frame looks very good.

Entirely too much orange for me....but that's the way they come.

Just found out that no service book is available, only a PC only CD.

I'm a Mac guy so I guess I will have to figure something out.

These bikes have complicated service rituals.

Take the CD to a printer and have them make you a hardcopy.

Think a place like Staples could do that from the CD?

Or would that be illegal?

Call Staples and ask.

If they won't do it, take it to the library and do it there, but it will probably be more expensive.

224 pages for the US copy. You might want that printed duplex (both sides of the page).

Here is a PDF I found: http://www.ktm.com/uploads/tx_ktmproduc ... _en_OM.pdf

I think it would be legal to print a copy. Just don't go selling them on eBay.

Thanx! But that is the owners manual. I have that. I want to get the full service (shop) manual.

Bike has a decent tool kit, even a KTM combination bottle opener and 13 mm wrench!

I'd say if you buy the CD, you have the right to print yourself a copy.

Or you could just get a POS laptop and load PDF reader on it and keep it in the shop.
I am finding my 7" tablet with it's wi-fi connection to my internet to be very useful in the garage. I could never find the money for two computers - one just for the shop!

Ooooooh yeah, I've always dreamed of a bmw combination bottle opener and wench.
Trouble is, I've taken to cans of beer in the esky lately. Half obsolete already.

Bike looks great, Neil.
Prolly got suspension and brakes and shit too, huh?

I look forward to a considered review once you've been on a mission or two. Have fun.

Will do.

The suspension is what I was after. We have rough roads here and I'm not getting any younger.

So I'm hoping the investment pays off in controllable comfort.

Still love my airhead though, and will do an extended trip on her!
