This is for the discussion of Motorcycling. The art, the science, the theory of all things related to our favorite sport... riding motorcycles.

Tragic. That was a really nice old pub.

The Uki Pub, not quite my local but I've had a few ales there .

No doubt to be replaced by a brick and tile drive in bottleshop and bistro.

I went for a ride on the weekend.

Native Dog Campground - On Guyra - Ebor Road only a few kms from Ebor (hotel). 100metres off the road, easy access. Tables, fireplaces, firewood, drop toilet. Plenty of space. No water

Next stop - New England National Park - Thungutti Campground.

Turnoff about 10 km from Ebor then 11 kms hard packed dirt road.
Fireplaces, firewood, tables, water (boil 1st), gas/electric BBQ, drop toilet.

Pick up some smoked trout on the way in.

Next on the list was Platypus Flat

Road still closed

According to the map, there was another road the other side of Dorrigo via Cascade.

However - by the time I found the right road, then decided the road was turning to sh*t and I was running out of time, I turned around. Sorry I just didn't get there.

I had somewhere else to be.

Charlie is going to investigate a final destination. I plan on heading North on the Friday for a get together wherever it is on Saturday.

Thats pretty rough huh but it will take shape from here.
So, the weekend 5-7 October is still the prefered date?

Went to my BMW whisperers place yesterday. Inventoried parts and found a few lacking, now to order. I'm going to the states for a few weeks late august til mid september. If the bike isn't running by then I'll just fire up the old ute and drive down. Don't want to miss the chance to kick tires and tell lies.
