Out and about yesterday, a couple hours and a couple caches to find. The caches:

And the trip, about a 50 mile loop (right click to see the good part):
The bike here is within thirty feet of the first cache. Under the bridge is a swell swimming hole--if I'd had more time, you'd need some eye bleach for the nekkid swimmin' pix.
Learned that the first thing that touches down on the left side is the sidestand! Learned this between 'C' and 'D' on the map. On the way from 'B' to 'C' there's about five miles of off and on dirt--saw a group of three on big HD baggers going the other way. Big waves were exchanged.

Call me Mel. Some years ago- never mind how long precisely- having little or no money in my purse, and nothing particular to interest me at home, I thought I would ride about a little and see the other parts of the world.

Great Melville, you have some excellent roads there.
Can I come play this weekend?

Anytime! No extra bike here, but you can rent modern BMWs in SF and have a fabulous day getting here.ME 109 wrote:Great Melville, you have some excellent roads there.

Like Heck! He could come to my house and we'd ride up there. I have a very nice RS he could ride. That is, if he'd promise to return it with no more than one bullet hole in it.

Would that put you over to my house on Sunday or Monday? 800ish miles from Chez Chuey to Melvilleville.ME 109 wrote:We still good for Saturday Chuey?
You should stay overnight in SF--I'll send you to the best burrito places.

Good to see you are taking such a cautious approach on the dirt these days, Jeff.ME 109 wrote:You're a pal Chuey, RS's are my favourite!

It's like you've mellowed somewhat, and I'm sure Chuey will be happy to lend you his RS with confidence.
