ABS would have prevented this?

I hit a similar cage once. These people shouldn't be allowed to drive. The rider really didn't have a good option that was reliable.
Ask the Indians what happens when you don't control immigration.

Watch the slow mo at the end.........it appears the rider used no front brake until he realised he was going to hit the car.
If the sound of a skidding tyre is genuine, then he locked his rear wheel.
The rider did not change course until he was very close to the car.
There was a ton of room on the gravel.

It wasn't really gravel, I should have said dirt with a few stones.
Dirt is fine, in a straight line.
