I wish I could see shots of both the car driver's and the rider's points of view, prior to the wreck.
If I see a car, I prepare to stop even if he hasn't (yet) pulled out in front of me. After I totaled my old Nissan wagon, anyway....
ABS would have prevented this?

ZM, as you posted the question, what is your take? Your background would enable you to give an educated response.

Re: ABS would have prevented this?
I don't think ABS would have helped because he tried to avoid hitting the car. If he had seen the car sooner and applied maximum brake he might have been able to stop, he didn't seem to be going very fast. But I would like to know if the car driver was indeed serious.
Any and all disclaimers may apply

I don't understand the question.

Anti blockient systems are designed to allow heavy braking while turning.

The motorcyclist kept repeating "are you serious?" all through the video after the wreck. Zombie Master was being funny.justoneoftheguys wrote:As opposed to trying to be funny?Zombie Master wrote:But I would like to know if the car driver was indeed serious.

I think I would have tried to stop. The car was in motion like a deer or something and not predictable.Zombie Master wrote:I don't think ABS would have helped because he tried to avoid hitting the car.
