Keep a cheap-o 2x3 foot laundry bag rolled up in one of the saddlebags to use for when there's a over-flow of groceries to load. Stap that puppy on the back seat.

That is a good one. I keep a cargo net under the seat in a plastic freeze bag. I don't like cargo nets as they are annoying to get unraveled, but it comes in handy every once in a while.

And to be really safe, always carry a few industrial strength condoms.
