Comparing it to a Cadillac say's to me "Overweight, overpowered and under-quality".

Overpowered, perhaps. Note that it doesn't just say "Cadillac," it says Cadillac CTS-V. Super-charged 556 hp, 0-60 in 3.9 seconds.Garnet wrote:Comparing it to a Cadillac say's to me "Overweight, overpowered and under-quality".
It may not by your cup of tea, but it definitely ain't your daddy's Cadillac.

"The liquid-cooled, pushrod engines are cast, machined and assembled in East Texas, then shipped to Birmingham for installation in the bespoke 4130 chrome-moly chassis. By itself, the aluminum-block engine, says Motus, weighs 140 pounds. When the stacked gearbox (with transverse input shaft) is attached to it, the compact powertrain (which measures 24 inches front to rear) tips the scales at a claimed 225 lb. The whole bike, says Conn, weighs about 500 lb. wet."
It's not light but it's big powerful bike , not for me but for the right bloke it's going to be perfect.

If Guzzi had built their bikes this well, we'd all be riding them.

I'd be riding one if I could afford it . They're too pricey here .Major Softie wrote:If Guzzi had built their bikes this well, we'd all be riding them.

Motus had a display at the Barber Vintage Festival this past weekend so I got a chance to look one over. Very interesting bike but, practically speaking, I'm not sure why anyone would buy one over a new BMW. I guess practicality doesn't have much to do with it, though.
