After using the Kaos Ether Carbon helmet for some long rides over weeks, I am pleased with it. While waiting in some hot border crossings I missed having the flip up helmet, but anytime in motion it felt much better than any helmet I have owned. I may be lucky that I got such a good fit, but the bearable lightness of being, is a great improvement in riding comfort. The fact that the helmet is inexpensive is a bonus. The shield is scratch resistant, the interior is comfy. It's probably not as quiet as a $800. helmet, but I always wear plugs or buds, so it's not an issue for me. I have seen a notice at a dealer that they are coming out with a flip up version....My nipples are hard. :ugeek:

The Major beat me to it. I did try to get a minor in dance, so I was exposed to that stuff.

It is, Garnet. But the Zombie Master was being subtle and funny by stating it that way, as it pertained in his case to a very light helmet.

The other title I remember was Terpsichore in Sneakers.

Arriving in Sydney for a few days, then Adelaide & Kangaroo Island (by bus/ferry), then north to the Kimberley and then east to Darwin and Cairns. Really a great fast trip with my wife's new client Wilderness Australia. I look forward to checking out the lay of the land...hopefully as a scouting trip for a projected airhead ship and trip within the next year.

I am spooked about riding on two wheels as i very well might eat some asphalt and chrome bumper since you folks ride on the other side of the road. I will know my metal after a few days there. I am planning on picking up a rented scooter in Adelaide for a small wine country spin. Hoping to catch up with a few of you if that works. Please know I will buy the first bin of chips and local brew. I am serious about the next import/ride and have a terrific plan to pull together for many of us dedicated airhead riders on both sides of this grand puddle.
