Either of those is good for me. Prolly 23/24 might be better for SteveD - a chance to regenerate bike and rider after the Dinner Plain ride.
I'm easy and keen. Jane has intimated that I am sometimes too easy and keen, but what would she know?
Mal, you don't sound well. It's a good thing there is a chance we'd have a medical professional present.
Where are we riding to next?

Anglers Rest? Geehi Hut? Tintaldra? Jacob's River? Island Bend? Cabramurra Hut?ME 109 wrote:Sounds good to me.
Wherethehellarewegoin'?
If Mal is coming I guess we could go for somewhere north of the border a bit.
Sure, it'll be further for SteveD, but you love a good long ride, don't you Steve?
On the other hand, Mal may need to ride some proper Vic roads to get some wear on the normally unused parts of his tyres.
As previously stated, I'm easy. And keen.

Re: Where are we riding to next?
Just looking at maps Jeff. Shame about that 500km to Albury! I'll probably need to take a 4 day weekend. I'd like to visit the Ikon factory on the Friday as I have to do something about my overworked shocks. Apart from that I'd like to get to the Blue Duck and come back home through Canberra or Tumut or any way home except the same boring run through West Wyalong. Your other suggestions sound good too.ME 109 wrote:Sounds good to me.

What do you reckon Steve?
Re: Where are we riding to next?
Just saw Charlie's posting at the same time as me. I will see if SteveC can be persuaded to come along, NSW side of the border might be better for him but will let ya know. At least it sounds like we can be SOMEWHERE in tha' mount-ains.
Re: Where are we riding to next?
Tintaldra was a good distance for me, 450-480 depending on route. Anything this side and including Geehi would be ok though @ 520kms.
800kms a day on slab is about my limit these days, but if twisty roads are involved that distance diminishes. At least with the shorter distance, you get the time to smell the cow shit and enjoy the type of riding and the company later without being too tired.
Looks like 23-24th is now out for me though. (Sean, my 15 year old son has an event which I cannot miss) Family calenders need updating more frequently.
So the previous week, just a couple of weekends away works best.

And I guess if Mal is planning to arrive Friday arvo, then a run into Vic from there ain't going to add much more.
The Bethanga Retreat is open for travellers, of course.

I had planned on a double ingrown big toenail removal that weekend.Airbear wrote:So November 16/17. Works for me. Others?SteveD wrote:
