I just read that BMW is adding 2 pounds to the flywheel of the Vasser Boxer Adventure!
That is the first time I've heard a bike manufacturer doing this in a modern machine.
I've argued many times for more inertia storage for twins, only to have been dismissed as a luddite.
Now my beliefs are affirmed, and my faith restored.
Maybe now we can have twin motorcycle engines that can pull with good grunt, and smoother throttle response at low revs.
Lets end the shuddering engine response of modern twins once and for all!
Great news from BMW!
