For the complete garage...

Post by dougie »

I've spent most of my money on women, motorcycles, and beer.
The rest of it I just wasted.

I'd like a lot better look at that front end.

Interesting how small the front discs are. That's definitely going a different direction than the rest of the industry. I wonder if the ceramic discs give so much more grab and heat control that smaller diameter discs give equal performance to larger metal discs.

Brakes are Beringer, with 4 ceramic discs.
Where is the fourth disc? Just how radical is this bike?

Yeah, they F'd that up. I'm guessing it should have said "4-piston calipers with ceramic discs" and an ignorant writer or editor truncated it to "4 ceramic discs." If you try to completely forget everything you know, you can see how the ignorant would read that as meaning it has 4 ceramic discs.

When I read "For the complete garage", I expected to see something like a nice workbench with a large vise or a bitchin' torque wrench or something like that. Instead, there's some motorcycle that doesn't even have opposed cylinders! Hah!
