I knew he couldn't take on the roo without bringing technology into the fight.

when I bought my 1974 R90s back in 1980, my Harley buddies were less than impressed......until I pulled out the stock toolkit that is. I remember one guy saying something like, "yeah, like that's a serious motorcycle. We're riding around on these rickety ass things (old Shovelheads and Sportsters) and he can ride to Alaska if he wants".

yep, had to agree.

Maybe he wants to make sure he is dead before he gets close enough to use the frying pan.

You Oz guys seem to take some pride in your Roos and like white tail deer in Texas, they seem to be death-by-natural-cause to motorcycle riders. Our deer are getting a little out of control around here. They are good to eat, but the Parks and Wildlife guys frown on you taking your road kill home. Even a little deer will take down a bike and they are very fast. A big one will total a car.

Do you guys do anything useful with the Roos, such as eating them or do you just dodge them and drink with them.

My tool roll. The red handled dual type screwdriver is on my shed bench somewhere.

White tail dear are also a growing concern in my general area.
I posted a photo of one coupla days ago that I photographed through my kitchen window!
Haven't had a fatality involving deer and rider that I'm aware of, yet.

Nice tools Steve!

There is a stretch of road between Fredericksburg and Kerrville that has the highest Death-by-deer in the country. Could be just local lore, but I believe it.

PS, the Deer Vs Durango pic came off the internet. The full set can be found by googling Deer VS Durango
