Well, it was only a matter of time. I remember a separate pump for the dreaded-leaded gasoline in CA circa late 80's...funnily, I had a small moment of panic earlier in the week when I couldn't fit the gas nozzle in a new-to-me van ; I had grabbed the diesel "gun". Made me think of Clark trying to find the gas-cap on the Family Truckster.

No: this is a technical topic related to maintaining a post 1970 Airhead.

Ask your congressman to do away with ethanol subsidies and the dilution of gasoline will end. The Ethanol industry can not survive economically without the $.55 per gallon subsidy that blenders get from taxpayers.

ZM, please include some "clue" as to the content in your subjects. I suspect that I am not the only one to have too little time to waste on watching unknown stuff. At least the commenters were kind enough to leave a lot of hints. I was able to infer enough to get the gist.

In all of these gov efforts to "do something green" the result is they are stealing money from some of us to give to a very few of them.

Opponents say that the increase in production of corn and its diversion into ethanol is making animal feed more expensive, raising prices at the grocery store and tearing up the land.

There's a quote from the article. Maybe someday we'll have to choose between meat and gasoline. Can't be All-American without both of them.
