Now this is odd.

This is for the discussion of Motorcycling. The art, the science, the theory of all things related to our favorite sport... riding motorcycles.

Now this is odd.

A new Honda based on my NC700 http://www.webbikeworld.com/motorcycle- ... da-nm4.htm

Too weird for me, but the low seat height and fairing design should give excellent fuel economy to an already efficient platform.

Strange but interesting, I'd like to ride one and see what it feels like .

I'm sorry, but if I want a feet-forward position, I will take the car.
I tried it on the Big Ruckus. I didn't care for it.

I am almost totally unmoved by any other bike than what I have. Is that normal?

I've never tried a ff but I'm always interested in innovation, it's just possible a better motorcycle design is out there in someone's head . Aerodynamics will have to be a big part of it.

I agree with Rob on the FF riding position. It has swept the hypermiling design thought process because it lowers coverall height and thus frontal area. Frontal area times aerodynamic coefficient equals drag.

I would like to see rule changes in Moto GP allowing better aerodynamics, then we would see much slipperier designs in the sport riding position, rather than more and more HP.

I actually can't tell where the hell you are supposed to put your feet.

Agreed . I'd imagine the engineering departments of the major manufacturers could come up with some very interesting designs if winning was the only object and there were no fairing rules.

It looks like there are small floorboards forward where a Harley rider would want his feet.
