I think that I remember something about "short" but it might have been about something else. OH, yes, now it is coming back to me, she asked how long I could make them for you. I answered as long as about 25 ft. and she said that should be enough for you.

I don't pay much attention to her ramblings. What does she know?

OK, so I misspelled it and now it is fixed. How could I type out Shirley when I meant surely? ME isn't hiding under a stage name that has no gender. I wouldn't "out" him if he was a her. I am not that inconsiderate, close, but not that bad.

I wouldn't do that, really, I swear.

I know people who like outing others and disrespect privacy, but not me. Really.

Some further searching on the net uncovered several threads that offer good instructions to deal with this problem. The best one I found, http://www.instructables.com/id/How-to- ... n-minutes/, provides instructions to mix a weak acid with vinegar and table salt (NACL = Sodium Chloride), and a alkaline solution of water and bicarbonate of soda to neutralize the acid. A good soak in the acid solution followed by neutralizing with the bicarb should provide a good cleaning to remove the corrosion. Then a good application of flux when I'm ready to solder. Thanks for the good information guys.

We now return you to your discussion of jumper cables.
