Eh, I could understand the whole military thing, but there are a ton of green bikes out there. I tend to think overall that Harleys are unlucky.

4 superstitions? You guys SUCK at being superstitious.

Wikipedia has a whole page on Theatrical superstitions, and even it doesn't have 1/2 the ones I'm already familiar with. WE know how to be superstitions.

Now, you guys get out there and ride safe - make sure you take off your makeup before you leave, don't whistle, don't practice receiving congratulations before the actual first ride, make sure the final practice ride is a disaster, never mention things are going well, don't have 3 lights, get yourself riding boots that squeak, don't put your boots or helmet on a chair or a table, make sure your first step as you ride off is off of your left foot, sleep with the service manual under your pillow, don't make your first ride on a Friday, get yourself a black cat, accept no gifts before a ride, get rid of your mirrors, don't carry any money, don't wear any jewelry, don't wear any blue, don't wear any green, don't wear any yellow, don't even own any peacock feathers, make sure to leave at least one light on in the garage, never finish your ride without someone watching, and never EVER say the name of The Scottish Play.

Now, get out there, and break a leg.

Major, you may be interested to know that in the theatre world in Oz "break a leg" must not be said under any circumstances. Instead, "Chookas" is the preferred term to repel misfortune. Dunno why - but next time I'm in a restaurant I'll ask a waiter.

I'm not sure any of them know anything about theatre anymore. I believe these days most of them are not working in Film and TV.

When I was looking for replacement side covers I bought one off e-bay that was painted German police green. When I compared to some models of Jaguars I had that were British Racing green they were about a perfect match. I thought about painting my bike BRG, but in reality I prefer traditional black.

It's not a color I really like that much, but it does look perfect on an open wheel Formula car, or even a TR3.

There are probably not a lot of /2s left that were not once owned by a now dead guy. My son, born in 1986 has laid claim to my 1975 R90/6 the instant I drop dead. That event is not actually scheduled for awhile, but I am sure that its coming.

So does anyone know where that tank came from? Looks like a /5 with more added onto the bottom.
