At idle you're fine. At fast idle, yes, a box fan - or better yet, one pointed at each cylinder. OTOH, I've only used a Twinmax on an Oilhead, and I find the greatest advantage of that tool is the ability to check balance under load (while riding). Airheads aren't as sensitive to intake balance as the R1100, so few bother with such things on these.
