I see

Idle mixture screw spring
Throttle return spring
Slide spring
Idle mix spring

None of these seem to ring a bell. It's item #8 in this photo:

Ah, so you're looking for #3 in this picture: Image if so, that one is not listed. Maybe it's time to check the local hardware store for a replacement.

I don't even see this part in the diagrams, does anybody have a lead on these?
I'm looking at the diagram in the owner's manual. It appears to be part number 6. Check out this collection of photos of the manual: http://www.pbase.com/dwerbil/slash_5
Your best bet is probably to call the Bing Agency.

Yes indeed. I got a quote from Bing for the parts. I think while I'm at it, I'll just replace everything inside the accelerator housing. Maybe a pair of new main jets makes sense too?

New main jets shouldn't be necessary since they don't incur wear. If they're cruddy they can be cleaned (in a non-abrasive manner) and if they're physically damaged that's a different story. And if you needed a richer or leaner main jet that would be a different story too.

Needle jets and needles wear from the needle vibrating inside the jet. There's no reason to replace a main unless it's damaged or you want a different size.
