2014 Autumn in Oz.

This is for the discussion of Motorcycling. The art, the science, the theory of all things related to our favorite sport... riding motorcycles.

How about half a kilo of lead opposite the more well travelled section? :ugeek:
Tried Buzz orPablos Charlie? 'Spose you have.

Those lads at Ringwood Cycles just might surprise too.

Gidday Fellas,

Mal, not good to read about the brother in-law, best wishes to the family mate and Pete I hope the "man flu" you have to easily shaken and given the flick aside quickly...

I'm out, done, no can do! for the Friday night, Saturday run...Work, family, family, work.. BUT I am going to ride up with Steve on the Friday to Bethanga for lunch to catch up with with Jeff and Charlie then head back home around 2pm.

If I leave at 7am Friday morning from Trafalgar, 1.5 hours to Healsville to meet SteveD for coffee, 9am we leave Healsville then ride the 4 hours to Bethanga on the twisty stuff for a 1pm lunch, then I leave at 2pm for the 6 hour ride home to Trafalgar via the boring Hume Hwy, I should be riding in the gate at 8pm if all goes well..

Should give me just shy of 1000kms for the day if we keep it moving.
Cheers, Grant

Thats what Special-K is built for! Enjoy a day in the big old arm chair Grant.

Things are looking better for me to make it Friday. I'm not up to 1000km days or I'd come by Bethanga too.
We will have to catch up on the next one. Maybe that Sibbo bloke can make it too.

The 'flu is moving thru my house too! I've been shot with it before so should be good to go. I'm counting on it.

Mal, sorry to have to finish our convo tonight...the line was difficult to hear and then I was being summoned for a task, so had to go. Hope to see you Friday night.

Pete, did you want to hook up with Grant and me? Healesville coffee at 0830 then leave when finished. maybe Mansfield 10-1030? Planning on heading over the Tolmi road. If time is good then via Beechworth, but if not the Hume @ Wang.

Just in case we're getting short on time... Jeff or Charlie...what's the quickest way to Bethanga from Wang if we go that way? Thru Albury, turn right to the bridge, or thru Wodonga to Bonegilla then the bridge? Google maps says 97kms thru Albury @ 75mins or 98kms/85minutes the other way.

Steve, I believe if you are on the freeway, going through to Albury is significantly quicker.
If you go through Beechworth and Yack you will be on the Bethanga side of Wodonga, so stay on the Mexican side.
