Might not be home made as That rubber bush looks the same as the one used in R45/R65 forks where it sits above the damper valve plate as a topping out bush. They don't have topping out springs.

Yea, that looks pretty similar PAS, the springs came out in the sliders.
I smoke my last cigarette and swear to god it's been fun.

That is an anti dive set up that was thrown together by many. Nor a stock set up. You can eliminate it and if necessary get new springs. Let us know if you need more info.

Well I went to the local dealership today, and brought the parts with me. After saying it was probably an anti-Dive set up we went through a couple rings and came up with the new bumpstop. 5 bucks later and the front ends together. thanks for the help
