The battery is a super start (O'rielys store brand). No is ETX 16L. It's rated 325 CCA. The other /6 has same battery but it's 5yrs old.
That's the same info for the Deka I'm using.

They're much cheaper than the Odyssey which seems to also receive accolades.
Steve, that Deka Powersports is an Absorbed Glass Mat battery. It will not "just up and carck". I think it will act just like the flooded lead acid battery of the past.
Thanks, good to know. What was I thinking of then? Carck mustn't be confused with crack though! Does that make a difference

The only bad thing I have to say about an Odyssey is the price. Mine performed flawlessly for over 7 years.
I wish they made one small enough for my tiny Honda.

Where I live that battery is $88.99. Not exactly giving it away but it IS an option.
1971 R50/5, 1980 R100T,
CRF 300 Rally, CRF 250F,
1947 James ML
The Odyssey's are $117. for the PC680. Free shipping, no tax and have a two year free replacement warranty. The service dept is excellent.
I have one in each bike BUT they do like a higher charging rate so I keep them on a charger occasionally.
Maybe all AGM batteries require the same??? Maybe worth looking into.
I don't doubt that Odyssey batteries are good but to be economically viable the Odyssey would have to last a minimum of 9 years to compare with the life I can get from cheaper wet cells or generic AGM batteries. 9 years is certainly possible but there is an element of lottery involved that would put me off.
Will the lawn tractor battery fit like it does the later models? lots cheaper and I have good service out of them, not 7 years worth, but much cheaper.
