Yep, looks like someone has used copper grease to lubricate the drive splines. Not bad but not the best. There are a number of greases recommended for splines (Liqui Moly LM57, Castrol Molub White T(Optimol T), Millers Spline grease, etc. etc.) and it probably wouldn't be a bad idea to replace the grease with somehing more suitable. It only needs to be applied 'sparingly' there is too much on your splines, hence the amounf being flung around in the brake.

Nice job to follow up! Looks like the issue is an oversupply of final drive grease. It may have been the wrong type and has tended to liquify at road temps. A proper spline greasy shouldn't do that...yours probably has too much moly in it. Honda 60 used to be available but has seen been retired. Snowbum has a section on that...read 6A on this website:

Thanks again! I took her today to work and she is not leaking anymore. Yesterday I took out the excess grease while I buy the correct grease. People tend to look funny when they see a guy in a suit riding a motorcycle.
