Good question. Simple answer, it doesn’t. Tilt the bike or tilt the tank. It’s a design flaw.

I'd guess a 1.5L reserve on that one tap. When it finally fails..stop (no choice) and lay the bike towards the tap far enough to move some gas towards the tap. The single left side tap on the R65LS requires this in such circumstances. Damhik. ;)
