The whole list of 35-40 special BMW tools had over 250 "watchers" and only got a single bid of $100. I have never seen such a sale.

My question here is, "Did anybody from here bid on those tools?" I ask because it is possible that eBay screwed it up somehow. I have never seen it happen though.
I looked, but did not "watch" or bid.

I had a bid in on the exhaust flange-wrench but I stopped bidding when the price went higher than a new one.

Unclivity, I was surprised at the final bid. I wondered why it went so high and wondered about the price of a new one these days. I think it brought $60 or so.

The tool to remove the transmission output flange brought $115. How could an assortment of over 40 special tools get only one bid and for only $100? Something went wrong on that sale.

I need confirmation that someone else made a bid and eBay lost it.

Surely if someone bid and it didn't register, they'd follow up with the seller or ebay?

I've never heard of lost bids, just lost auctions.

Duane, perhaps your auction photo of one tool didn't do justice for you?
I thought $100 was a lot for one tool, until I saw there were other photos of more tools....

I just got confirmation that another person tried to bid, but it didn't work. He didn't know why.

I elected to not honor the sale. This will be my first negative feedback in over 1000 sales on eBay. I have 512 positives, so I guess that I can handle a negative.

I will dispose of the tools in another way. Now I will post sales of lessor value to see what happens. I should watch my audtions, but I am busy and not all that interested. I will now pay more attention. I might just enter a shill bid to see that they are going in.
