Whozzat?
Call me Mel. Some years ago- never mind how long precisely- having little or no money in my purse, and nothing particular to interest me at home, I thought I would ride about a little and see the other parts of the world.

ZM, I don't know where YOU live but a LOT of my non-white fellow workers around here drive really OLD VWs and would probably take offence at your comment...maybe you ought to go back to the speakeasy.
Oh, back in 1969...the non-white guy who worked on my '61 190D had a brother who rode an R69s...it was the only one in Clemson at the time. I wish I knew what happened to it.

Major Softie wrote:It's always confused me a little how the Amish treat technology - they are quite willing to buy metals that were produced using all the technologies they think they should avoid. If it's really detrimental for people to be around those technologies, it seems like they don't care about the impact it has on others, only the impact it has on themselves. They've always seemed to take a very "NIMBY" approach, rather than being concerned with the impact of any of those things on society as a whole, or on the planet as a whole.
I wish more Christians would follow their example and not try to force their morality on others.

oops, Speakeasy stuff here.

I admire the Amish. They are much less hypocritical than am I. Humility is important to them. They are humans but overall, they walk the walk from what I can tell.

Why are you such a hypocrite?

Can't you just stop it?
