no dont't know how to post a pic, they show on the preview but not on the board.

Have taken some pic of my main jets, the top one runs but the bottom one doesn't cannot see why, will replace both with 145 but may also buy 150 just for something to play with. Any ideas

The pic must be hosted somewhere.
The url is then posted here.
Then [IMG ](no space) is typed before the url.
Then [/IMG ](no space) is typed after the url.
The autoway using the icon provided does that too if the url is highlighted when you click the icon.

No, I always post direct from my PC. Click on attachments and then add a file. Note the maximum size. I always reduce the pic to something sensible.For example the cutaway carb pic I posted is only 394 x 234 pixels and 46 KB in size. Generally you don't need pics bigger than approx. 800 pixels in size. The 2MB limit is more than generous enough although original images may be larger which would be wasteful of server space, hence the size limit. I use paint.net to re-size images but there are many others available.

finaly managed it, the top pic is the main jet that works , the bottom jet does not work. I cannot see any real differance.

If the main jets are clear, then I doubt if that is the problem, after all they are simply holes of a given size. If you want to be certain try fitting them to opposite carbs and see if the problem moves with them.

On the subject of images, there are three (or more) ways to do it so that the images show up in the post.

The 'attachment' route native to the forum is size limited to save space on the servers (and hence expense to the forum organisers). The 2mb limit is adequate for most purposes and you can easily re-size larger images using the microsoft paint application.

The other simple way is to register with an image hosting service which will provide you with space to save the image and a link to post on the page forum page. I use 'ImgBB' but there are many more and most of them will supply a limited amount of space free.

The other way, of course, is to post your images on the web and construct your own link... but that's only really practical for people who are familiar with web hosting.

You could try testing the jets for size to see if you can detect any difference between them. Short of proper pin gauges anything that's close to the correct size like a twist drill may help to highlight if they are both the same. I have a set of miniature drills that go down so small that they are hard to see with my old eyes. From the data I have, a 145 jet hole should be approx. 1.25 - 1.28 mm in dia.. Another technique might be a sewing needle that is just too big to pass through the jet. The length of tapered needle that passes into the hole would be an indication of any difference in size between the jets. You won't be able to measure the jets accurately with these methods but it should be easy to detect any significant differences.

I didn't know that. Where is "attachments" to click on?
I use smugmug ($) or imgur (free). Link from their url. Saves this site storage costs I suppose.
