And like the wind, he's gone again.

No, I've been checking in to see if anyone has posted pics of a real original paint Daytona Orange paint job.
I think the one posted by SteveD is very nice but a repaint. It's very much like the parts I already have. Since I'm doing it for the second time, I'd like to see if I can get it better. I would imagine Holt knows the real scoop.

Chuey, this was posted just recently. Notice the photos haven't been deleted yet. Description states it's original paint.

Thanks, Randy. Also, thank you SteveD. I hadn't read the text thoroughly enough and concluded that the paint was not original. As it is, it is the perfect reference I was looking for.

You Aussies are so weird!
stacks on the mill
In sporting contexts, a pile-up of players, usually on top of the ball. It was originally a schoolyard game, a call to children to pile in a heap on top of someone. The full cry in the Australian children’s game was ‘stacks on the mill, more on still!’ The phrase is now sometimes abbreviated to stacks on. ‘Stacks’ is a corruption of ‘sacks’, from an older British game ‘more sacks to the mill’.

Thank you, Rob. In Australia being weird is not only totally acceptable, it's sort of a requirement.
Good to see somebody doing the research. And that is a useful website but I couldn't find a reference to 'larrikinism', a pretty important Australian term.
