Do you mean where's the bike sitting in California, or where's Brisbane Chuey? Anyway
it's in Pacific Grove on the Monterey Peninsula, having it shipped by Schumacher Cargo Logistics
to Brisbane Australia.

Steve, it's costing me $500 Shipping US Coast to AU Coast, + $450 to get the bike from Pacific Grove to Long Bch which is 500kms.
I'd suggest emailing Joey at Schumachers for a quote, tell him where in Tennesee it is, he's been really quick on getting back to me on any questions I've had. Email:

Boy oh boy, I wish I could be the one to transport the bike from Pacific Grove to Long Beach. That's about a five to six hour ride. Pacific Grove is about seven hours North of me.
You will love that bike. They are eager companions.

Sounds like you need to hire a rider to get your bike to the coast. I am available for cheap.

Oh great! I thought I'd found a niche but now I have competition. Dang!

PS Well, there is the fact that I did get lost on my first test ride on a BMW. I'm not the best navigator so it may take me a little extra time. (Full disclosure and all that)

You guys!
Here's the quote.
Jeff, can you predict the extra costs....?

SHARED CONTAINER FREIGHT
PICK - UP TRUCKING - DIRECT 795.00
Our port-to-port service includes receiving at our local port warehouse, preparation of our export condition report, export custom clearance, secure loading/blocking/bracing into a steel ocean container, transport of loaded container to departure port and ocean freight to destination port.
Taxes, Duties, Custom Inspections, Destination Customs Clearance, port charges, storage, unloading or delivery services are not included in our quotation. We would be pleased to quote for these services if they are needed.

Steve, the only extra cost I can envision and am aware of.....like Death,... is Customs Import Duty payable before release/ Clearance. I've heard its around 15%, the trick is to do the obvious to keep it down. So that was Schumacher's quote?
