Schumacher's, yep. The bike would be fully titled, absolutely above board sale, trusted seller. I'm sure he'd have it pristine and clean. So, essentially it's US$1100 to get to Oz. Add some insurance and then the cost once it arrives here.
Other than a roadworthy cert I'm in the dark about those costs and would need to know what they were before proceeding.

Once it's cleared Aust. Customs, next step is to obtain a "Personal Import Plate" before you can go for a
Roadworthy Certificate, ( the Ph No to call is 03 9335 2977 ) I just called Queensland Transport and
they filled me in on this.
So what Model you buying Steve?

Looking at a 75/6...for a mate. Are there any costs involved with clearing customs?

I believe Import Duty (Tax) could be around 15% of the Purchase price, but don't quote me on that.
