Any and all disclaimers may apply
Re: 10 best sounding triples
But what do they sound like with stock exhausts?

My Dad has a '76 XS750 (like the one that takes 10th spot in the OP's video link). It's got a Mac 3-into-1 pipe on it & I can attest it sounds great! He hasn't ridden it in years & I'll likely end up clearing it out of his garage one day; I'd love to do a tasteful café conversion to it like the green one in the video...

Those all fail to compare to the original 3-cylinder 4-strokes... the T150 Triumphs and Rocket 3 BSAs (1968-1975). Here's a listen to a stock engine with stock exhausts.... https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=kUX-I59Jbd0
They were very successful race bikes too. Here's what one sounds like in full tune at the IoM (the first bike past).... https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Sf2sdfGLfSA

After 20 years as a professional bike mechanic and 30 years as an engineer I know just enough to be dangerous !

I prefer the Laverda triples with the 180 degree crankshaft. The sound at idle is intoxicating.
