R60/6 bagster and pannier options?

I recently acquired myself a BMW R60/6 which I want to tour on, so I will need some luggagesystem.

I prefer periodstyle/original. Which options are there?

Also I have been looking at a bagster tankcover, but the site only says "R75" can I use that?

There are a lot of period correct panniers for the /6, /7, and up airheads. Have you been to Duane Ausherman's site? He has an article on the various bags.

Notwithstanding all the options the most classic of them all in my opinion is the BMW/Krauser bags and the currently manufactured Hepco Becker classic replicas.

Plus, there are a lot of them around that show up on ebay, IBMWR, and other places.

The only downside is the brackets are ugly, but if you keep the bags on all the time, that doesn't matter.

Yes, the R60 and R75 models share the same frame and tank, so the tank cover will work IF it's the one for that size tank.
