Hey Oz RS boys, It just came to mind!!

Post by grant81rs »

G'day fellas,

Yes it did, it did indeed, it just occurred to me whilst sitting here in the workshop painting, staring at the end of the long haired brush soaked with high gloss enamel paint as it glides across the plain panel which I am slowly bring to life as the constant rhythm of the rain is hitting the corrugated tin roof of the my little sign-shop that our much loved beemers, our pride and joys, our 81 RS's will be turning 30 years old this year......So this must cause for a celebration, somewhere in a pub or a great camp by a meandering Aussie river....Pub sounds good but to me ;)

Now I know that SteveD, Jeff, Myself and Jeff's brother have 1981 RS's dated the 9th, 10th, 11th & 12th months of 81...

Something must be done, any suggestions fellas.....Any excuse for a Boxerworks get together
Cheers, Grant

A pub high up on a hill might be preverable to a meandering Aussie river. Just a Canuck's point of view.

Yeah, I'm in,
25th last year for my bike, Talbingo was a good celebration. with Jeff, every year.
Throw a couple of darts Grant, One at a map and one at a calender, The nearest pub and the nearest
weekend wins, good start anyhow.

Ah, Happy Significant Birthday to all those sweet young things. Some advice from Brunhilde, now gracefully approaching middle age: "Keep demanding the most expensive of precious fluids and encourage widening of your rider's grin so that the wallet keeps opening as required."

Yep, we'll be there to help celebrate. Where?

Yes, The Wallet - probably the most important accessory for a motorcycle. A full one, anyway.

March/April when the dry weather returns? I'm in if we can sort a date.

There's Jim from Beechworth too. Has he had his RS on the road yet Jeff?
Cheers, Steve

Not yet Steve, He's doing the steering head bearings after taking out the Ford Bronco springs that the po had in there.
I sat on it when he first got it and it felt like *HIT!
I must get on his case to get it on the road..............but then if I don't Jim may get tired of the 'ol 84 RS and sell it.............to me...............ooooh.........dilemma dilemma!

I've spent most of my money on women, motorcycles, and beer.
The rest of it I just wasted.
