I need to transport an 18kg 95.45.60 cm box from Sydney to me in Melbourne.
Any ideas on a reasonable courier? Greyhound Busfreight, which is usually good value, want $120.

Yep, lots, but it's a matter of finding one at reasonable cost. You can put a package on a Greyhound but the cost was $120, which is just more than I want to pay, hence the search for alternatives.R65 Rob wrote:878km, 1 day each way... two major cities - surely there are lorries (utes?) that make that trip regular.

I'm trying an online place E-go.com.au that quote $42. From memory, they were the crowd that I had the black wheels shipped with, though they seem to have changed their depot address.ME109 wrote:No one in particular springs to mind Steve, but what about the likes of Ipec etc.
Try the 'ol yeller pages.
I'm just thinking that a small company that is already headed that way might have room for it on one of their trucks for a reasonable fee.SteveD wrote:Yep, lots, but it's a matter of finding one at reasonable cost. What about Bethanga? Charlies island maybe? That might be a bit more of a challenge!R65 Rob wrote:I'm getting better at finding Nimbin by just zooming in on the map, though!

(low water = no island)
