shift lever rubber needed

anyone know a source for the shift lever rubber part? Mine has finally cracked off.
Buy land. They ain't making any more of the stuff.

They are readily available at a BMW Moto dealer or order one from a BMW car dealer in your local area. Otherwise go on to Max BMW Fiche or MotoBins and order one. Not too expensive.

I've found replacements brittle and likely to split way before their time.

Any alternatives out there?

Do what I do - buy 2, keep one as a spare, and the first one will last forever, you will never need the spare until you lose it or toss it

Appropriate size automotive heater hose.
I've spent most of my money on women, motorcycles, and beer.
The rest of it I just wasted.

It's cheap - buy a 1 foot piece and use the rest for smacking locusts :mrgreen:
