That's what it says on the cover of Cycle World about the new Kawasaki ZX14.

How slow is my R100S now?

We're aging ZM.
We don't want a bike that throws shit at us faster than our brain can process it.
60 horespower is just fine. I use all of it and it's fun.
I've spent most of my money on women, motorcycles, and beer.
The rest of it I just wasted.

Not to worry, the ZX14 has ABS, traction control, wheelie control, selectable power. You don't even have to be a good rider. The technology has you covered. :?

That's fine, but does it have "stupid control"?

They are making bikes idiot proof. Ergo there will be more idiots.

The sad thing is there may come a time where I will not be able to enjoy humiliating modern sport bikes with my old Airhead.

How (essentially) true !
Even as new MCs are nothing about "idiot proof",
perceived market demand determines product.
The latest greatest fastest, top spot on the motorcycle horsepower ladder, will trump all !
... and certainly have more than it's share of idiots standing in line with $$ in hand ...
