/6 high beam and signals cause hesitation!

Post by VELOCIPETE »

Hi Boxerworks folks!
Has anyone run into a situation where switching to high beams causes hesitation? It happens with the turn signals too. Occasionally the bike will decide not to run from highway speeds (though this could be a fuel delivery issue). BIke is a '75 60/6 with Boyer ignition and an electronic voltage regulator. I apologize if there is already a thread on this, but i couldn't find it.
Thanks, Pete

Not sure if I can help, but check the power supply to the left hand switch gear and see if it is somehow linked to the ignition + power wires. Check ground connections too.
Can't say I've heard of these symptoms before on boxerworks but I can say the darnedest symptoms can be caused by the weirdest conditions!

There are far better people to help with your queries, maybe they're asleep......
