High mileage, decent price, bone stock.
Record of all oil/filter changes.
Three owners. First one sold it when he was 84 to the second who then sold it to his wife. Then me.
The plan is to ride it for a while, then decide which one to sell.

I remember them from the 80's/90's; always thought they were a solid, put- gas- in- it & go bike. Much changed from the earlier versions.
Honda also had the "Tourist Trophy" 500cc which I still would like to have had.

I believe the Hawk preceded the SV. It's Honda's Duc, and a very fine motorcycle that didn't sell particularly well.Sibbo wrote:Is that a Honda version of an SV 650 ? It's so clean!!

There's one near me:
http://portland.craigslist.org/mlt/mcy/3155930984.html
Red 1990 Hawk GT with 24k miles.
Cult Classic 650cc V-Twin. Single Side swingarm.
The bike is in great condition. Never been dropped or raced.
Always serviced at a mechanic who specializes in Hawks. While here in Portland: Viscous Cycle.
This is a great light weight bike that is a lot of fun to ride around down or on day trips through the twistites.
Low seating position which is very comfortable for shorter riders.
Modifications: Braided Brake Line, F2 Handle Bars, mirrors
Clear Oregon title in hand.
Test rides only with motorcycle endorsement & cash in hand.
Location: NE Portland (Alberta Arts)
it's NOT ok to contact this poster with services or other commercial interests

The V angle (52 degrees) and the offset crank pins create the same firing order as a 90 degree V-twin. Nice sound.Major Softie wrote:I believe the Hawk preceded the SV. I'm hoping it is one of those bikes you never lose money on.
