Clutch Switch Spade Connectors
I've been searching for a source to buy some of the miniature female spade connectors used on the clutch switch on a 1975 R90/6. Does anyone have any recommendations or suggestions? -Mike

I have a supply of the small females, what width are they? Are you in the states?
I have .203, .186, .135.... When you get to the small sizes of spade the wire size gets down to 24 gauge or so.

Just take the switch in to a parts place and they will provide them. We never had trouble finding those.
Ask the Indians what happens when you don't control immigration.

Hi Crunch. Also try any electric motor rewind service ( i use to use them back in the days on the early style hoover front loader electric motors when i use to repair them). Also try any wholesale electrical distributor they where a stock item. You could buy the O.E termianls as Rob has mentioned, which would/should be of better quality (i assume) over the junk terminals that some auto shops sell these days.

I measured the female connectors and they are 5/32" W x prox 1/4" long. Longer is OK but width is critical. If my math is correct that should be .156" (4mm) W x .250" (6.35mm) L. I didn't see anything like that on the Real OEM fiche.

If you live in a decent-sized town, you should have a good electical/electronics supply house.
In Indianapolis, my go-to guy is King Electronics. If I need anything weird (4 foot lengths of heat shrink tubing, more diameters than you can shake a stick at), that is where I go. They also sell christian materials...(mom & pop store)

I bought some of those connectors once, for my R65. They are pretty cool. So damn cheap, it is easy to buy some of each size and perhaps you will get lucky.
My link was for my specific R65. I looked up your bike and saw the sizes were a little different. They had a 3.7mm, if I was reading it correctly.

Hi Rob, I also purchased the OE terminals that you found for me last time i was looking for weird parts , they also where chained together.Looks like they where cad plated ?, when used they really had great tension on the female terminals no poor connections for intermittent faults later on.
