Frame mounted S fairing

I'm repairing my S fairing and am considering mounting it to the frame instead of the handlebars. There was a BMW shop that made a special edition model where they did the same thing. Does anybody here remember the name or have any ideas/links to how-to articles for frame mounting the fairing?

There was a thread on doing frame monted S fairing on ADV Rider web site. Maybe googgle search would be able to find it.

Basically it was based on using an RT or RS head tube fairing mount. Some alterations were required to the spider mount to accommodate the S fairing mountng system. It turned out as a great mounting system.
