Darn Fuel Prices!

If you want to see a particular theme of pictures posted start a thread for it. Your pictures just MIGHT end up on the Boxerworks front page in the Gallery slideshow. That said, the RULES are as follows.....

Very appropriate, considering how the little guy is getting hosed by the fat cats on gas prices. They should be about $2 / gal right now with oil at 41 / barrel. Instead gas prices are going up.

I try, a couple of times a week. In case anybody wonders, Schwalbe Supremes last almost as long as my motorcycle tires. And are a little bit cheaper. Not much.

91 ron unleaded per litre here was $1.08.9 this morning. This arvo it's $1.40.9.
The price of crude must've sky rocketed...or not. :x Slow to drop, quick to rise, regular cyclic shafting of the motoring consumer.

Yesterday I filled the truck (11.5 mpg!) and with a fortuitous Jenny discount of 30 cents per gallon paid only $2.939 per gallon for regular. First time under $3 for quite some time.

Usually the Jenny discounts are only 10 or 20 cents, but it would appear that SF Jenny has a new Chevron card and is getting the 30 cents for the first 60 days.

So if you're at a Chevron that offers Safeway Club Card discounts, use 415-867-5309 for the next little while.
Call me Mel. Some years ago- never mind how long precisely- having little or no money in my purse, and nothing particular to interest me at home, I thought I would ride about a little and see the other parts of the world.
