Handlebar Master

Post by Norm T R100T R1150RT »

Gatherin an assortment of parts to do a conversion from the undertank - purchased a double banjo bolt - 10mm x 1.25 Double Bleed - length is good, thread size is too coarse - what is the proper designation / size to get the correct thread pitch ? Thanks

Thanks for the responses - my confusion was with the thread "pitch" - 1.25 coarse - 1.0 fine thread (I'm a hopin) - thanks again - I'll be back with more later - need to source the one into two cable set-up also - plan on new cables but I'll try to find the rest used - all them little parts add up

When you replace cables, it's best to go with the OEM ones from the dealer. They are better built and are Teflon lined for smoothness. I just bought new under tank brake cable and throttle cables, price was not that bad for the quality.
I have a set of after market units, they just don't measure up as well, they went back into the spares pile.
