nice! I like the idea of using the engine for compressor. Good to know about the stems, I could barely find the straight ones, (maybe because I live in SF).
I'm off to do the tire thing and install my new, (to me), wheels. This will be fun!

Engineair compressor...just be sure your engine runs OK on only one cyl. and remember to protect your electronic ignition if that's how you make a spark.

I've got one of those too, but it's not so practical with my newer fuel injected bikes.vanzen@rockerboxer.com wrote: I always carried an "engineair power pump" with my tire-plug kit.

Re: tubeless
I have the new wheels installed with my new tires. Installed new front disc and brakes at the same time. I took my time and enjoyed the process, everything went swell. Now to break in a new rotor and breaks with new tires. Working on the bikes is part of the experience for me. The two go hand in hand for me and I feel satisfaction with the upgrade/retrofit.

Simply lay the connected plug on a cylinder and you're good to go.Jean wrote:and remember to protect your electronic ignition if that's how you make a spark.

I think his real point was that your engine be in proper tune so that it will idle on one cylinder.vanzen@rockerboxer.com wrote:An airhead will run down the road on one cylinder,Jean wrote:Engineair compressor...just be sure your engine runs OK on only one cyl.
