I bought a set last year off ebay for about $30 US as I had to replace 2 out of 4 on a 78 R100/7 I was working on last winter...turned out all 4 were in great shape so used them all.
Couldn't figure out why 2 of original 4 were pitting and other 2 were OK...1 was from left exhaust other from right intake...kinda wierd as I thought if 1 gone then all 4 would go? Don't know, answer to that one but was first cam followers I've ever replaced. Mind you this bike had some miles on her but the top end I had checked out and everything was in spec...hmmm

They look very nice, Moose. The set I bought cost $30, with two having mild pitting. Dunno what causes the pitting - maybe rust from sitting unused for too long, maybe a bit of grit. My old cam looks great.

Yea, I can't figure out why 1 goes and the others are OK...interesting but not going to lose sleep over it. Good your cam lobes look OK.
