Re: Front fender fitment
Interesting, I have two 1975 R90/6 and neither one of them have item 14. And note that item 2 is a carriage bolt that fits into a square hole in the brace. Sometimes these can disappear over the years.

Re: New neutral switch, still won't start in gear.
Bamboo812 has it correct. To engage the starter in gear the clutch lever must be pulled in. If the micro switch in the clutch perch is not wired correctly then the tranny must be in neutral. It's easy to overlook the switch as it is almost hidden inside the perch housing. Either repair the connectio...

Re: R100GS turn signal stays on (without blinking)
From the ADV forum, "Olds kool Airhead parts"...As a reminder, the pricey OEM turn signal flasher on the old airheads like my /7 can be swapped out for a "Tridon Stant" 12 volt 3 terminal #550 thermal flasher available for under $5 from any auto parts store. The new flasher will ...

Removing Center Stand
Any suggestions on the best way to remove the center stand springs on a R90/6. Looks like there is a nut missing on the right side bolt, and possibly the spacer.

Yet another R90/6 Starting Problem
I've been following the Project R90/6 starting problem on another thread with great interest and there is a lot of good information there. Without calling me by name I see where my good friend and boon companion Monte Miller made reference to the electrical gremlins that have plagued me with my R90/...

Re: Clutch Switch Spade Connectors
Mongo, in an ideal world the answer is yes, the OEM are 90 degree female spade connectors. But the straight type can be made to work as you have discovered. I believe the heat shrink tubing is critical.

Re: Clutch Switch Spade Connectors
I measured the female connectors and they are 5/32" W x prox 1/4" long. Longer is OK but width is critical. If my math is correct that should be .156" (4mm) W x .250" (6.35mm) L. I didn't see anything like that on the Real OEM fiche.

Clutch Switch Spade Connectors
I've been searching for a source to buy some of the miniature female spade connectors used on the clutch switch on a 1975 R90/6. Does anyone have any recommendations or suggestions? -Mike

Re: ignition switch and proximity kill switch project
I would be interested in seeing a schematic of your idea. Also, a list of parts would be good to see.
