Tire pressure

No problem gettin mileage on my Airhead - K bike n Oilhead - on the rear I wear out the center first - way ahead of the outside - runnin 36 fr - 42 rr on the K, 38fr - 42 rr on the Oil - higher pressures wear out the center sooner ? Re: R1150RT transmissions

For what it's worth, and many here are much sharper than myself, the 02's are known for trans misalignments, in some cases - I've an 02 R1150 RT than has been a grand ride, with a few modifications - currently 89,000 miles, 55,000 by yours truly and, knock on wood, no tranny problems

Laminar Lip on an R90S fairing

Re: Handlebar Master

Handlebar Master

Gatherin an assortment of parts to do a conversion from the undertank - purchased a double banjo bolt - 10mm x 1.25 Double Bleed - length is good, thread size is too coarse - what is the proper designation / size to get the correct thread pitch ? Thanks

Re: Riding my BMW again....

When I mounted a "Brown" on mine I left the stock side stand in place - it acts as a cradle of sorts and holds the Brown out away from the frame for easy access - and on a trip with a particularly heavy load, deployed both to ease my fears of collapse - works fine for me
