For what it's worth, and many here are much sharper than myself, the 02's are known for trans misalignments, in some cases - I've an 02 R1150 RT than has been a grand ride, with a few modifications - currently 89,000 miles, 55,000 by yours truly and, knock on wood, no tranny problems

Thanks for the responses - my confusion was with the thread "pitch" - 1.25 coarse - 1.0 fine thread (I'm a hopin) - thanks again - I'll be back with more later - need to source the one into two cable set-up also - plan on new cables but I'll try to find the rest used - all them little part...

Gatherin an assortment of parts to do a conversion from the undertank - purchased a double banjo bolt - 10mm x 1.25 Double Bleed - length is good, thread size is too coarse - what is the proper designation / size to get the correct thread pitch ? Thanks

When I mounted a "Brown" on mine I left the stock side stand in place - it acts as a cradle of sorts and holds the Brown out away from the frame for easy access - and on a trip with a particularly heavy load, deployed both to ease my fears of collapse - works fine for me
